Protest Demonstration in Aparan: Residents Blocked Aparan-Vanadzor Highway (video)
The residents of the neighboring community in Aparan, Aragatsotn Region, have blocked today Aparan-Vanadzor roadway. The reason is the decrease in milk collection price. The residents mentioned that the milk was used to be bought from them at 170 AMD, but the price of the collected milk has decreased up to 100 AMD during the recent week.
“If the price of milk only is decreased, let them decrease the prices of all products, why they do it only with milk?” the protesters were complaining.
The police are also on the spot and currently the policemen are negotiating with the residents so as to have the roads unblocked.
