The more democratic regimes are established in Armenia, the stronger the positions of Armenia is in the Artsakh conflict. This opinion was voiced today by Azerbaijani expert Ashot Movsesyan during the meeting with journalists. "The international community's sympathy for us will be even greater if we have the people who enjoy the sympathy of the people. One thing is when your country represents the people's trust, another thing is that a country is constantly participating in a dictatorial country that underlies the constitution, in this case - Azerbaijan. Since the West has always viewed democracy as a human right, therefore, when the Armenian side goes to the negotiations with a non-democratic country, definitely the support of the West will be for Armenia," said Ashot Movsesyan. According to him, in case of the new prime minister it is possible to register serious success in foreign policy. "If Nikol Pashinyan has a proper foreign policy team, we can achieve success in the Artsakh conflict," he said. "We have been accustomed to independence from the fact that those who have been field commanders have presented Artsakh, but we must understand that anyone representing Armenia is a representative of Artsakh. From the statements of Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijan understood that anyone who comes to power will only defend the interests of Artsakh and Armenia," added Ashot Movsesyan.
