New Ambassador of Russia to Armenia appointed
Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Sergei Kopirkin. He will replace Ivan Volynkin, INTERFAX.RU reports. He worked at the Russian Federation representation in the European Union and the European Atomic Agency as deputy permanent representative. Ivan Volynkin was appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia on March 21, 2013 and handed accreditation on the 25th of May 2013.
