European Chess Championship: 24 nominees, 3 medals
The matches of the last, 11th round of the European Individual Men's Chess Championship in Batumi today will be held, and according to the results of which the prize winners will be determined. 24 chess players claim three medals. However, eight of them have a slight advantage, as they are half a point ahead of 16 pursuers. Alas, three of the Armenian chess players, Robert Hovhannisyan, Hrant Melkumyan and Arman Pashikyan are in the group of pursuers. They beat their opponents in the 10th round and scored 7 points each. To win the prize we need to win again and hopefully all the leaders play a draw.
