Youth Chess Olympiad, Armenian national team loses to Russia
The 8th round of the chess junior Olympiad was held in India. The Armenian team met with the leading Russian team. The drawings were recorded on the first three boardboards, but our opponent won on the fourth boardboards. Thus, the Russian team won with a score of 2.5: 1.5 and became the champion of the Olympiad ahead of time. The Armenian team scored 10 points and remained its 4th place. But our team still can win bronze medals, if it defeats the Malaysian team in the last round of tomorrow, Also, we should hope that the Iranian team with the 12 points, who is in the 3th place currently, will be defeated by Belarus.
