Extraordinary elections in Azatamut community
On March 11, 2018, extraordinary election of members of the Council of Elders will be held in Azatamut, Tavush region. The executive body made the appropriate decision. According to the justification, on August 18, 2017, the authority of 5 members of the community's Council of Elders was terminated prematurely on the basis of the relevant point of the RA Law on "Local Self-Government" (they were absent from more then half of the sessions held by the council over one year). For this reason, it was impossible to hold the next meeting of the Council of Elders.
