Artsakh sends Letter of Appreciation to Senate of Michigan
On October 4, Ashot Ghulyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic, sent a letter of appreciation to Senator David Kneshek for initiating [on September 28] Senate Resolution 99 on recognizing Artsakh's independence. “The adoption of Senate Resolution 99 by the Senate of Michigan is an important step towards the international support for our young democracy. I am convinced that the recognition of the Republic of Artsakh and its international engagement will give new impetus to the security in the South Caucasus and establishment of ultimate peace,” Mr. Ghulyan said in the letter. President of the Artsakh Parliament Bako Sahakyan sent a letter of appreciation to ANC of Michigan Chair Lara Nercessian for her contribution to the adoption of the resolution supporting the independence of the Artsakh Republic.
