Koryun Nahapetyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs, made a clarification during today's discussion on the ratification of the agreement between the Armenian Armed Forces and the Russian Armed Forces. Koryun Nahapetyan stated that the joint group of Russian and Armenian Armed Forces had existed, but secretly. More specifically, it was a legal act in 97-98. “The Law on Legal Acts was not adopted at that time yet. But in any case, it is a fact that such a unified group was formed in time, as there were relevant documents. And from the point of view of legal force, we can be worried about why this was the case in time.”
