Husband was deported from Russia, but his wife is still there - resident of Yeghvard town (video)
On September 29, Zaruhi Postanjyan, the head of the Yerkir Tsirani (Country of Apricot) party, visited Yeghvard, a town in Armenia’s Kotayk marz (province). People received her without recognizing her. “We receive education, we are clever with our hands but we live in poverty,” said one of the locals. Soon he was told that he was talking before a camera and the woman in front of him was Zaruhi Postanjyan. “We are rooting for you a lot.” The man added that Armenians do not live an easy life outside their homeland: one of his friends has been deported from Russia, but his wife is still there. Zaruhi Postanjyan called on a Bulgarian-Armenian guest [standing nearby] to join them so that they could raise their voice in front of the embassies on the day of pan-Armenian rebellion by the end of the year.
