Al. Iskandaryan: EU document is ready and agreed (video)
Political expert Alexander Iskandaryan can see nothing interesting and extraordinary in the recent meeting of Sargsyan and Putin. “It was an ordinary working visit,” he told today the journalists. Touching upon the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Armenia, the political expert noted, “Turkmenistan is interested in the free economic zone of Armenia with Iran, which relates to the whole EEU. Armenia will try to undertake the cooperation with Iran involving other EEU countries. It isn’t easy to work with Iranians.” According to Alexander Iskandaryan, we shouldn’t overestimate the chances of transit of Turkmen energy carriers through the territory of Armenia, “Armenian-Turkmen cooperation is possible, but it is the issue of economists. And the political issues will be overcome.” The pending document with the EU, according to the political expert, is ready, it is agreed, now technical corrections are being done, and the political contradictions cannot be seen, so, we can assume that it will be signed in November. “Nothing has changed in the NKR issue,” summed up Alexander Iskandaryan.
