Tigran Balayan: Baku should implement Vienna and St. Petersburg agreements
Baku should implement agreements reached in Vienna and St. Petersburg to avoid further losses and provocations in the Karabakh conflict zone, Spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry says. “For exclusion of further Azerbaijani provocations and losses, Baku should agree to implement the agreements of Vienna and St. Petersburg,” Tigran Balayan said in a Twitter post. Azerbaijan continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact late on Tuesday evening, shelling Armenian defense positions from weapons of different calibers. At around 8:20pm, the adversary opened fire also from a TR-107 artillery rocket. Yesterday’s shelling saw the heaviest escalation in the conflict zone since the four-day war last April. Later on Tuesday, the Defense Ministry of the Artsakh Republic said Armenian troops retaliated against the enemy’s offensives. The Ministry said Azerbaijan had losses in the result.
