Sasna Dzrer member: They want to punish free citizens of the Republic of Armenia again. (video)
The Court of Appeal is studying the ban on visits for Sasna Dzrer group members – Gagik Yeghiazaryan, Aram Hakobyan and Vardan Geravetyan. Neither the prosecutor nor the lawyers [Davit Gyurjyan and Tigran Yegoryan] were present in the hearing. They lawyers were disallowed to enter the courtroom after they refused to have their bags checked by bailiffs. During the hearing, Gagik Yeghiazaryan announced that if the ban on their meetings is lifted, they will not reveal any pre-trial secrets. Aram Hakobyan added that the ban on visits proves that they [the authorities] want to punish free citizens of the Republic of Armenia again. The judge has retired to the consulting room to make a decision
