RF authorities invite people to tea, Navalny to rally
Today, on the Independence Day of Russia, anti-corruption rallies are being staged in different cities of Russia. The rallies are organized by Russian opposition figure, blogger Aleksei Navalny with his Foundation of Fight against Corruption. The rallies have already kicked off in Vladivostok, Blagoveshchensk and Kazan, and there have already been detentions. Moscow protest was moved to the central Tverskaya Street, where the protest isn’t authorized, unlike the previously announced place. While the representatives of the opposition are getting ready for the rally at 14:00, the authorities invite the people to take to the streets for drinking tea from a huge samovar.
