“All reported incidents are unpleasant, but they must not cast a shadow on the quality of [municipal] elections,” Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Armen Ashotyan said on Sunday during a press conference held at the HHK’s central office. He added that about 300 000 citizens voted in Sunday’s elections Armen Ashotyan says their challengers have been unable to gain the confidence of their supporters.
