City Council candidate: Voters even kiss Zaruhi’s hands (video)
Though the Yerkir Tsirani party has a big array of supporters, it is still unknown how many citizens will vote for its candidates in the upcoming municipal elections in Yerevan. “Voters even kiss Zaruhi’s hands,” Alisa Abrahamyan, a city council candidate from the Yerkir Tsirani party, said on may 10. She says everyone is aware of the activity of their mayoral candidate – Zaruhi Postanjyan. “Her primary goal is to save the country from stagnation because most people are concentrated in Yerevan," Alisa Abrahamyan said. The candidate added that the representative of the ruling party – incumbent Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan – is using administrative levers. “If Taron Margaryan believes that he has done everything, he is deluded. Everyone wants to exercise the right to freedom of thought.”
