Serzh Sargsyan extends condolences

Serzh Sargsyan sent today a letter of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani on the coal mine disaster in Golestan province of the country which claimed dozens of human lives. The President of Armenia expressed his deep condolences and support to President Rouhani and the friendly people of Iran. He wished fortitude and patience to the families and friends of the victims and a speedy recovery to all injured and wounded. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan extended condolences to First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Es’haq Jahangiri in connection with the mine collapse in Gulistan province, which claimed dozens of lives. The message reads as follows: “On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I express deep condolences to you and the friendly people of Iran. I wish fortitude to the families and close relatives of those killed, and speedy recovery - to the injured.” To remind, mine collapse in Iran killed 35 people and 69 people received different gravity bodily damages. It isn’t known whether only mini workers were affected by the explosion, or there are also rescuers among them.
