Tsarukyan bloc members to receive mandates (video)
The National Assembly of the 6th convocation will gather for its 1st meeting at 10.00, on May 18, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic, Tigran Mukuchyan said on Wednesday, May 3. In its Wednesday sitting, the CEC gave mandates to the eight representatives of the Tsarukyan bloc who had submitted applications to the CEC to renounce their mandates. As reported earlier, 12 newly-elected MPs from the Tsarukyan bloc submitted withdrawal applications on Tuesday, May 2. Today, they said they are not going to renounce their mandates. Earlier, MPs from the Tsarukyan bloc said they were unaware of the withdrawal letters submitted to the CEC on their behalf.
