Armenians win in Glendale elections
On April 4, citizens of Glendale city elected City Council members. Three of the ten candidates running for three vacant seats were Armenians – Ara Najarian, Vrej Agajanian and Zareh Sinanyan, panarm.info reports. They received more votes than their contenders in the elections. Ara Najarian had 8305 votes, Zareh Sinanyan and Vrej Agajanian received 7892 and 7885 respectively.
