Vardan Petrosyan was released and may leave country
Famous actor Vardan Petrosyan, who was sentenced to 5 years’ imprisonment, has been released on parole. His advocate Nikolay Baghdasaryan told “A1+” about it. According to the words of the advocate, Vardan Petrosyan has been fully released and may leave the country. Starting from September 10, 2015 Vardan Petrosyan served his sentence with an open regime. In case of an open regime the prisoner may leave the prison at 08:00 in the morning, go to work and return at 20:00. To remind, in January 2015, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk region sentenced Vardan Petrosyan to five years in prison on murder charges for his involvement in a deadly road accident that left two [16-year-old] boys killed and four others injured.
