Red Cross visits Armenian POW in Azerbaijan - Artsakhpress
The ICRC representatives in Azerbaijan visited the Armenian prisoner of war and provided him with an opportunity to exchange news with his family, Artsakhpress reports. The visit was conducted in line with the standard ICRC procedures. The head of Communication Department at ICRC in Karabakh Eteri Musaelyan told Artsakhpress that according to its mandate, the ICRC visits detainees to monitor their treatment and conditions of detention and helps them maintain contact with their families. Arsen Baghdasaryan, a citizen of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic was taken into Azerbaijani captivity on December 26, 2014.
