Giro Manoyan: Mediators should give adequate response to Azerbaijani agression
“The international mediators try to be unbiased in their statements addressed to Armenia and Azerbaijan but there are cases when things must be called by their names,” Head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs office said on February 8. “It is condemnable that Azerbaijani side did not lead the OSCE mission to its front-lines on February 7, during the planned monitoring of the Line of Contact planned monitoring of the Line of Contact,” Giro Manoyan said today. He says this behaviour is typical of Azerbaijan. “We expect an adequate and clear response from the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” Mr Manoyan said stressing that fresh tensions take place before the expected talks between the two foreign ministers and when Aliyev announces the start of new negotiations with the European Union in Brussels. He says if Brussels does not use the negotiations to record progress in the Karabakh conflict, then Azerbaijan will speculate the fact.
