Detainees along lines of the events on Khorenatsi street sentenced to 3 years’ imprisonment (video)
Soso Margaryan, Gagik Mikayelyan and Arsen Mkrtumyan, who had been detained along lines of the events on Khorenatsi street, sentences to 3 years’ imprisonment. Gagik Poghosyan, judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan Kentron and Nork Marash administrative districts, sentenced them to that punishment, as demanded by the Prosecutor. To remind, all three defendants accepted their guilt during the trial in the hope to receive mild punishment. Today in the court the defendants noted that they had really thrown stones at the police officers, but only after the police officers had used sound and light grenades. And the stones thrown by them didn’t hit any policeman.
