Seyran Ohanyan has asked Serzh Sargsyan for a little break
“I do not imagine former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan in the opposition figure,” Armen Sargsyan, Advisor to Defense Minister and the brother of Armenian ex-PM Vazgen Sargsyan, said at the Yerablur Military Pantheon on January 28. Nor does Armen Sargsyan imagine himself in the ranks of the opposition. Speaking about Seyran Ohanyan, Mr Sargsyan said, “I know one thing for sure: Seyran Ohanyan wants the situation in the country to stabilize and he is most worried about the situation in the military.” Armen Sargsyan does not think that Seyran Ohanyan left his post offended. Moreover, he says Serzh Sargsyan has offered Ohanyan the post of Secretary of Security Council or CSTO Board. “Seyran Ohanyan has not refused, but he has asked the president for a little break, because he really needed a rest,” Armen Sargsyan said.
