PM is displeased with work of ministers (video)
Today the Government session started with a minute of silence in memory of Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan. Then passing to instructions, Prime Minister expressed his discontent that letters addressed to the Government aren’t given full solutions, “Very often those letters are redirected to the Ministries or bodies adjacent to the Government. But sometimes those bodies send replies, which don’t contain analysis of the raised issue or any active measures, especially when the issues relate to the increase of new projects or budget expenditures in that particular ministry.” PM added that replies, which don’t contain any analysis, haven’t been discussed with the interested structures and only contain theoretical attitude of the particular ministry towards the issue, will not be accepted and will be returned for implementation. By the way, PM instructed Davit Harutyunyan, Minister-Chief of Government Staff, to follow the quality of implementation of the instructions, taking into account the abovementioned concerns. PM was also displeased with the Ministers’ draft and implementation of annual projects. “I have recently got acquainted with those projects; not everybody has carried out appropriate work, as those proposals are not always practicable. Those projects will not be accepted in this way. I instruct you to finish the activities in 2-3 days. Starting from next week, during regular meetings, annual projects will be discussed.”
