PM to become Republican (video)
Today, before the Government session, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan declared that he had submitted an application to become a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). The head of the Government explained his decision: “The first reason is that I was offered this post by Serzh Sargsyan, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, as well as I appreciate the party’s conservative position, besides there are many close people for me in that party,” noted the PM, adding that he will not make pressure on his teammates to follow him.
