Karen Karapetyan has not applied for membership to HHK yet (video)
Gagik Minasyan, a member of the Supreme Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), today spoke to journalists after a sitting of the HHK Executive Body. He said during the meeting mainly discussed issues related to the party’s congress to be held on November 26. “Certain changes are planned to be introduced to the party’s program and charter and we discussed a number of organizational issues connected with the upcoming congress,” Mr. Minasyan said. He added that the meeting was also attended by [former prime minister] Hovik Abrahamyan, who had not attended the session after his dismissal. Speaking about the possible membership of Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan to the HAK, Gagik Minasyan said that as far as he knew, Karapetyan had not yet submitted an application for membership. The prime minister is expected to announce his intention to join the HHK on Thursday.
