Fan stabbed in Spain ahead of Sevilla-Juventus match (video)
Spanish authorities say a man was stabbed during an altercation between fans ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match between Sevilla and Juventus.
As reported by Spanish AS daily, some thirty ‘ultra’ fans of Seville attacked a group of Juve fans who were having dinner at an eatery at a bar in the city centre last night which was followed by a massive brawl inside the bar which continued in the nearby streets.
Seville police say the unidentified man was hospitalized after he was injured in the confrontation between the fans at the bar. Officials say the man is in stable condition and his injuries are not life threatening. Preliminary reports say that at least two other people sustained minor injuries in the overnight violence late Monday.
