Armenian lawmaker Arakel Movsisyan considers 'foreign spies' the three lawmakers who yesterday voted against the bill proposing that each employed citizen of Armenia should transfer AMD 1000 from his monthly salary to a special fund for the army needs. Movsisyan says he will never ‘hand over power to the opposition.’ “If you do not make good proposals and are directed by forces from other countries, how can we trust you our country? Tell us – how?” the Republican lawmaker asks. He was angered by the suggestion made by Aram Manukyan, Secretary of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), who offered the Minister of Defense to bring at least half of the 40 percent shade to the legal field and to solve the problem of the controversial bill. Arakel Movsisyan says Aram Manukyan should have thought about the shade in the 90s when he held office in the Ministry of Culture. “I do not know the situation of culture in these days…” he says. “Why should we hand over the power to you? You will give Karabakh to Turks. You will ruin our county…”
