House of Aramyants included in list of monuments (video)
Today the Prime Minister responded to the letter written by a group of intellectuals. They turned to the Prime Minister informing about the tragic condition of the house of national figure and philanthropist Mikayel Aramyants in Akhtala. “The house has been included in the list of monuments of modern history and culture by the Ministry of Culture, but due to the owner’s failure to fulfill his obligations, it has fallen into disrepair,” he noted and instructed the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre to present all the overload registered on the property, as well as instructed the Chief of Staff of the Government to study the issue and introduce proposals together with the interested ministries. “In fact, the building can be an attractive sightseeing for tourists, and I think that we must definitely show our attitude,” the PM added.
