More people apply for Canadian citizenship as Trump wins White House race
Canada’s main immigration website appeared to rapidly crash on Wednesday as a result of the presidential elections in the United States. Some users saw an internal server error message when trying to access the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website. The number of citizens applying for Canadian citizenship increased rapidly after it became known that Donald Trupm took the lead in the race for the White House. It is very difficult for Americans to receive Canadian citizenship. Many Americans earlier announced that they would leave the country if Trump became the leader of the country.
