Policemen put out torches of participants of Anonymous demonstration (video)
19:40 March participants reached Liberty Square. Shahen Harutyunyan explained why they had released torches into the sky, “Freedom, equality, brotherhood, love, respect, homeland; these are heavenly values and we put each of them in every torch and sent into the sky.”
Rally-marched ended at Liberty Square with the vociferations “free, independent Armenia”.
19:00 Reaching Republic Square, the march participants organized an action. They released torches into the sky. The will explain symbolism of those torches at the end of the march.
18:40 The march has reached the NSS building. Here Davit Sanasaryan made a statement, “In this rotten building there are people, who are happy that they serve special Russian services. But it cannot be that way. This building will soon become either museum of human rights or will be destroyed and other building will be built, which will serve the people.”
17:55 Policemen, at the agreement of march participants, put out the torches.
During the march Shahen Harutyunyan reminded that the march is peaceful, “There is information that one of the participants has electroshock weapon with him, if someone tries to use it, it means that that person is sent by the police.”
17:50 Shahen Harutyunyan, Shant Harutyunyan’s son, started the rally. After him, the sons of Alek Poghosyan, who is imprisoned with Shant Harutyunyan, read the letter of their father from the prison.
Before starting Anonymous march Shahen Harutyunyan urged to be careful of instigators, “I can already see policemen in civilian clothing.”
March participants are vociferating “Free, independent Armenia.”
17:00 Shant Harutyunyan’s son Shahen Harutyunyan and sons of other political prisoners in Guy Fawkes masks are holding rally-march at Liberty Square. To remind, Chairman of “Tseghakron” party Shant Harutyunyan was imprisoned for his political views.
After the imprisonment of his father Shahen Harutyun has been organizing Anonymous march, demanding release of political prisoners.
