L. Alaverdyan: “Changes are situational- ahead of elections” (video)
“Budget program is in line with the Government’s new program,” the NA Republican lawmaker Lernik Aleksanyan told the journalists. He says that the budget has been formed according to one principle, “There was an intention to maintain the existing social allocations and continue the existing projects. It means that the social allocations will not be reduced,” he noted. Chairman of “Against Legal Arbitrariness” NGO Larisa Alaverdyan noted that she doesn’t believe the Government changes, “Of course these changes can at least psychologically give hope to a small part of the society. But informed people understand that deep changes are needed for real changes,” she said. Mrs Alaverdyan cannot see new conception in the Government program, “New Prime Minister acts more as a manager than a person brining new economic conception. These changes are situational, that’s why the society has got an impression that the changes are made ahead of the upcoming elections.”
