Vahan Shirkhanyan’s advocate hasn’t got reply
“Vahan Shirkhanyan may tell something, which may interest the media outlets,” says lawyer Hayk Alumyan, replying to the question what Mr Shirkhanyan is going to speak about in the upcoming press conference. In order to get a permission for organization of a press conference in the prison, Shirkhanyan’s advocate Hayk Alumyan turned to the Department of Penitentiary Institutions. The day of meeting, though, isn’t known. “The answer will be announced by the advocate. We will answer the application in set time,” Gor Ghlechyan, spokesman for the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Department, told “A1+”. To remind, Vahan Shirkhanyan was detained on December 19, 2015, on suspicion of aiding a criminal gang led by Artur Vardanyan.
