“Poverty will be reduced by working and receiving salary” (video)
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, in the special session of the National Assembly convened by the Government, during the discussion of the project of the executive body, responded to the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction lawmaker Mikayel Melkumyan’s questions, which mostly related to the investments and the reduction of the poverty. “The investments in our country are few because of the high risks. The reason is the incomplete work of the customs and the tax authorities also the phenomenon of being a small country, besides the war situation, logistics”. As for the poverty reduction, the only prescription of PM is,“ We need to create workplaces for this. The Poverty will be reduced by working, receiving salary and what do we need for this…?” asked rhetorically the Prime Minister raising his hand then completed his speech, “Thank you!”
