BHK member: “We fulfilled our obligation in Vanadzor”
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction secretary Vahe Enfiajyan touched upon the mayoral elections in Vanadzor. “After October 2 new political culture has been established in Vanadzor, but short time ago the election of head of the community by the Council of Elders showed that not everybody realizes the honor and trust given to them. I regret to say that some members of the Council of Elders can infringe their signature the moment when the people pin hopes on them. The situation should be analyzed in detail. Prosperous Armenia Party is committed to its principles of the signed agreement. We appropriately fulfilled our obligation.” To remind, two day ago 3 political forces, Bright Armenia, Armenian Renaissance, and Prosperous Armenia parties signed an agreement, expressing readiness to support the candidate of Bright Armenia Krist Marukyan. In that case the latter would receive 18 votes and would become a Mayor. But Republican candidate Mamikon Aslanyan has become a Mayor with 19 votes. Krist Marukyan received 14 votes.
