In PACE Azerbaijanis raised the issue of Armenia’s Iskander
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) autumn session has kicked off with the session of the EPP political group. Naira Karapetyan, the NA HHK lawmaker, member of the Armenian delegations, informs about it from Strasbourg. She says that Azerbaijan’s representative Rovshan Rzaev even here displayed the moods existing in his country by raising a question on Armenia’s Iskanders and drawing the attention of the EPP President Joseph Daul to Russia’s support to Armenia. “I should only add ‘Wow!’,” the NA HHK lawmaker Naira Karapetyan wrote on Facebook. Another member of the RA delegation Samvel Farmanyan informs that at the PACE EPP political group’s session he raised the issue of Luca Volonte, former President of the same faction, “He is accused of carrying out activities by Milan Prosecutor’s Office in 2012-2014 in support of Azerbaijan. That fact discredits the reputation of the EPP political family in the eyes of Europeans. The EPP President Joseph Daul also reacted to the issue.”
