Vahe Hakobyan to replace Surik Khachatryan (video)
According to the decision of the RA Government today Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan will be relived of the post, and Vahe Hakobyan will be appointed Syunik Governor of the Republic of Armenia. The draft decision was presented by the Minister of Territorial Administration Davit Lokyan. Guided by the RA Constitution (2005 amendments) Article 88.1 and based on the RA President’s May 6, 1997 NH-728 decree, Provision 1.7, the RA Government decides: To relieve Surik Khachatryan of the RA Syunik Governor’s position according to his own decree.
