NKR President sends congratulatory message on Teachers’ Day President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory message in connection with the Day of Teachers, press service of the Presidential administration informed “Armenpress”. The message reads: “Dear teachers, On behalf of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic authorities and personally myself I extend my cordial congratulations on your professional holiday, a day that our people traditionally celebrate with a deep feeling of respect and gratitude. Gratitude for the significant and difficult work that you fulfill educating and bringing up our children, insinuating in them love and respect towards knowledge, helping them make the first steps in life and become honest individuals and citizens, thereby carrying out a patriotic mission of carving the future of our state and people. Each of us has a favorite teacher and keeps the memories related to him/her and school years bright during the whole life. These memories warm our souls and leave their unique trace on our further activity. Highlighting the special role of teachers in our people's life the state always rates their work high and keeps issues existing in the sphere of education and science in the spotlight, does everything possible to raise a patriotic, educated and progressive generation. Your activities have a crucial role and strategic significance in the life of a man, people and state, because education and bringing up as processes are impossible to imagine without your participation, as school is not an ordinary workplace, and teacher’s profession - an ordinary job. Being a pedagogue and being involved in pedagogy is a special attitude in itself and requires an endowment, special psychology and devotion, spiritual-moral responsibility before the people’s future and the country’s future. Thanks to you school becomes an educational centre and a house, a family environment and a knowledge database, where human relations and love towards education are formed, where the pupils get fundamental upbringing for defending the Homeland, prospering it and keeping high the honour of the Motherland at home and overseas. Dear teachers, What you can transfer to the pupil also reaches to the family, hence you indirectly participate also in the family environment, bridging school and family, symbolizing the significance of those two most important values; values, which are considered to be the basis of any state, necessary prerequisite for the existence of any people; values, which always accompany us, providing our peculiar image and the guaranteed way.
