Answering journalists’ questions at Yerablur military pantheon whether he sees a necessity to release [political and public activist] Shant Harutyunyan and [retired colonel] Volodya Avetisyan, Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Galust Sahakyan said he ‘sees a possibility for everyone to be released one day.’ Speaking about the newly ministers in Armenia, Mr. Sahakyan said he knows some of them and is acquainted with the biography of others. “They have some experience. I also believe that we shall be able to better our economy to some extent in the future,” he said. When asked about the dismissal of Gagik Beglaryan (former Minister of Transport and Communication) and Gagik Khachatryan (former Minister of Finance), Galust Sahakyan said, “They are people of our time, they also have the right to live. We have never wanted anyone to be dismissed…”
