We are not criminals - Sasna Dzrer member
A Yerevan court today decided to extend the detention term of Hovhannes Harutyunyan and Ashot Petrosyan, both members of the Sasna Dzrer group that seized a police station in Yerevan in July, for two months. The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan’s Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun districts granted the motion to the investigative body and rejected a motion by the defense to release them on bail. Hovhannes Harutyunyan and Ashot Petrosyan were present at the court hearings held at the Court at different hours. “Ashot Petrosyan did not say anything, while Hovhannes Harutyunyan stated in court that they were not criminals, they did not commit any crime and only fought for their homeland,” lawyer Arayik Papikyan said.
