Hasmik Poghosyan: What is the matter? What is all this stir about?
The acting Minister of Culture, Hasmik Poghosyan, today advised journalists to take a little interest in culture, which would keep them away from rumours about her possible resignation. “Please, ask me questions that refer to culture,” she said. When asked whether she saw herself in the new cabinet, Hasmik Poghosyan said, “ am not going to answer those questions now because the answers will not be mine.” As regards the reprimand of the Prime Minister who advised the acting minister to present her reports briefly, Hasmik Poghosyan said she took everything quietly. “He [Karen Karapetyan] is Prime Minister and has the right to ask questions and reprimand others. Everything is all right. What is the matter? What is all this stir about?” she said. Asked whether the premier was prejudiced against her, the acting minister said, “When a person goes to work somewhere, he starts with his own approaches. So was the case with me. I think this is a normal approach in a health atmpsohere,” she said.
