Armenia’s new prime minister was appointed by people in Moscow, Armenian lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan said during the parliamentary briefings on Friday. The member of the Heritage faction says the appointment was meant for ‘uncontrollable events’ and she does not have positive expectations from the new PM. “Representatives of the authoritarian and oligarchic system are constrained by their past. These give rise to concerns and we have reasons to worry about our country. Besides considering Karen Karapetyan’s past, we should alos taken into consideration the fact that he has been was appointed from Moscow,” Postanjyan said.
