Naira Zohrabyan: Kostanyan acted as Robin Hood and did not want to call Sasna Dzrer members 'terrorists' (video)
Head of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction, Naira Zohrabyan, says it is an affront to say that former prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan handed in his resignation due to health reasons. “At least the Parliament is obliged to learn the real reasons for his resignation. The reasons given to us sound ridiculous. Even the press interpreted the reasons in a different way. Won’t the same health problems prevent Mr. Kostanyan from becoming Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia? Won’t those problems interfere with the fulfillment of ambassadorial duties?” Naira Zohrabyan said in the National Assembly on Wednesday. She believed that Kostanyan had several reasons to resign. “Either he is ill or he was a Robin Hood who did not want to call Sasna Dzrer group members ‘terrorists’ and was fired for it. I am a little skeptical about the second version,” she said.
