HAK lawmakers were not of the same opinion
At the start of the NA sitting, head of the parliamentary group of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), Levon Zurabyan, announced that the HAK faction was not going to participate in the vote on the composition of the temporary commission of the Audit Committee as ‘the faction does not participate in the work of the given commission.’ Despite his statement, HAK members Nikol Pashinyan and Hrant Bagratyan voted against while Lyudmila Sargsyan abstained from voting. NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan called on the other factions to submit their candidates in the shortest possible time. After he announced that the National Assembly was starting to discuss the agenda, particularly the candidacy of Artur Davtyan as Prosecutor General of Armenia, MPs began leaving the hall. Mr. Davtyan began his speech by presenting his programme.
