Seyran Ohanyan to hold position of the CSTO Secretary General
Acting Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan most likely will be appointed Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), informs Interfax agency, citing its source in the RA Government. “In the near future Ohanyan will be relieved of the position of Defense Minister. He will assume the position of the CSTO Secretary General,” said the interlocutor of the agency. Current Secretary General of the CSTO Nikolay Bordyuzha informed earlier that the new Secretary General of the CSTO would be announced on October 14 at the Session of the Council of Collective Security to be held in Yerevan. According to the words of Bordyuzha, a representative from Armenia will assume the post of the Secretary General.
