Officials seem to be taking revenge on Garnik Margaryan - lawyer
The detention period of Garnik Margaryan, Chairman of the Homeland and Honour party, has been extended for another two months. “The situation is out of control, officials seem to be taking revenge on him. The coercive state apparatus is used against him,” Margaryan’s lawyer Hovik Arsenyan told A1+. Garnik Margaryan, 72, was arrested on suspicion of cooperating with a criminal gang led by Artur Vardanyan. Margaryan does not admit the charges leveled against him. He has been in custody for 9 months, since January 14.
