Pavel Manukyan underwent another surgery
Pavel Manukyan, one of the member of the Sasna Dzrer group, has been operated on today at the Erebuni medical centre. Talking to A1+ Company, orthopedist Gagik Bdoyan said ‘the surgery went well and Manukyan feels much better.’ The doctor says Manukyan will be able to walk after the surgery. The member of the Sasna Dzrer group was taken to the hospital from the Hospital for Convicts on Thursday, September 8. Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram were wounded by police on July 27 in a skirmish near a police station which the group had seized ten days earlier. They were both arrested after seeking medical treatment. They were taken to the Erebuni medical centre with thigh wounds and remained on artificial respirators for a couple of days. Pavel Manukyan is charged under Part 3 of Article 219 of the Armenian Criminal Code (occupation of buildings, facilities, means of transportation or communication by an organized group) and Part 3 of the Article 235 (illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices by an organized group).
