If prime minister gives definite names, I shall believe in changes - Anush Sedrakyan (video)

“When we talk about resignations, we forget the events that took place in Armenia between April and July, including the four-day war in Karabakh, border skirmishes, and the seizure of a police station by the Sasna Dzrer group,” Anush Sedrakyan, Deputy Chair of the Free Democrats Party, said on Friday. “All these phenomena show that social discontent is brewing across the country,” she said. Speaking about the resignation of the prime minister, as well as the powers and privileges of the new cabinet, Anush Sedrakyan said if the prime minister and the new government fight against reasons, rather than against consequences, then we can talk about real changes. “All prime ministers promise to fight against monopolies and solve the issue of the so-called transparency of resource governance and consumption, forgetting to say that the monopolies and resources are in the hands of definite groups. If the prime minister starts giving the names of people who enjoy monopolies in Armenia and names the methods of struggle against them, I shall believe that changes are possible in Armenia,” she said.
