S. Lavrov discusses NK issue with Minsk Group Co-chairs
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today in Moscow together with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs discussed issues relating to the NK issue resolution. Current issues relating to the conflict resolution, including the process of implementation of agreements reached at May 16 Vienna meeting and Sargsyan-Putin-Aliyev trilateral meeting held in Saint Petersburg on June 20, as well as situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and Line of Contact were discussed. The statement of the RF MFA mainly reads, “Yerevan has stated for many times that there is no progress in the process of resolution due to the deconstructive stance of Azerbaijan; Azerbaijan refuses to implement the agreements reached in Vienna and Saint Petersburg. The agreements include the expansion of activities of the OSCE Minsk Group Monitoring group and investment of the investigation mechanism.” The U.S. Co-chair James Warlick noted that the activities directed to the fulfillment of these agreements will continue.
