“We have never discussed the issue of territorial concession,” Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said on Friday after a Cabinet sitting. “During the past 25 years, the Artsakh people have proved that they have competence to make their own decisions,” Mr. Kocharyan said adding that Artsakh has established itself as a state. “The April war proved that the Artsakh people are ready to repulse any provocation,” he said. Asked which country is expected to recognize Artsakh in the near future, the deputy FM said, “I think, the Nagorno Karabakh Republic is working in that direction and this is not news. The work is done through states of different countries and local government bodies. It is important to exert more efforts in that direction.”
